Exosome-Based Therapy
Exosomes are nanosized extracellular vesicles crucial for cell communication, with applications in diagnostics, cancer immunotherapy, infectious diseases, anti-aging, and dermatology. StemRx collaborates with Prof. Sujata Mohanty (AIIMS New Delhi) to explore exosome-based wound healing.
Tissue Nano Transfection (TNT)
TNT technology enables safe, non-viral delivery of biological or synthetic cargo to skin tissues, facilitating in vivo tissue reprogramming. Using a nano-channeled device and focused electric fields, TNT allows direct cytosolic delivery reprogramming factors. StemRx collaborates with Dr. Chandan K. Sen (University of Pittsburgh) and is incubated at CMIE, AIIMS New Delhi, and IIT Guwahati BioNest for TNT development in India.
Myofibrils
StemRx leverages satellite cells for muscle regeneration in conditions like uscular dystrophies. Research includes bioengineered myofibril transplantation, autologous myotubular sheath development, & dystrophin cell replacement for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Additionally, StemRx is exploring labgrown artificial meat using muscle stem cells for sustainable and ethical food alternatives.
Extracellular Matrix (ECM) Research
